The Problem:
Qiyam Coffee had a founder with genuine conviction about what his brand stood for and who it was built for. None of that conviction was visible in the content. The brand looked like every other specialty coffee account aesthetic, warm, and completely interchangeable.
The Approach:
Rather than showing the product, we put the founder on camera and let him speak directly to the person Qiyam Coffee was built for.
In 18 seconds the founder doesn’t describe the coffee. He describes the customer someone who values quality at every level of their life, down to something as seemingly simple as what’s in their cup.
That distinction quality as a worldview, not a product feature is what separates Qiyam from every other specialty roaster in the market.

A stranger watching this reel doesn’t learn what Qiyam Coffee is. They learn whether they are the person Qiyam Coffee was made for. That’s the difference between content that attracts and content that converts.

The Problem:
Every specialty coffee brand talks about
sourcing. Quality beans. Direct trade.
Ethical practices. The language has become
so common it means nothing.
The founder had something different a personal conviction so specific and so non-negotiable that it separated him from every other brand making the same claims. But that conviction was buried under the same generic language everyone else was using.
The Approach:
We gave the founder’s conviction a camera and got out of the way.
He doesn’t say Qiyam Coffee is ethically sourced. He says he is not willing to compromise how the farmer is impacted because the wellbeing of the farmer is directly connected to why he started the business in the first place.

A viewer watching this reel doesn’t just learn what Qiyam Coffee stands for. They learn what Nasser refuses to compromise on and that refusal is exactly what makes the brand worth choosing over every alternative that makes the same promises with less personal stake behind them.

The Problem:
The founder is a Q Grader one of a small number of certified coffee evaluators in the world trained to assess quality at a professional level. That credential, and the judgment that comes with it, was completely absent from Qiyam Coffee’s content.
The brand was being perceived as one of many specialty coffee options. The expertise behind it was invisible.
The Approach:
We put his expertise on camera instead of his product. In under 20 seconds he teaches the viewer something true about how quality coffee is actually evaluated and the moment a viewer learns something from him, the relationship changes.
The moment a viewer learns something from Nasser, the relationship changes.
He is no longer a founder trying to sell them coffee. He is an expert whose judgment they can trust which means the coffee he chooses to sell is already validated before they’ve taken a sip.

The Problem:
Beyond Athletics was being confused with CrossFit. Not occasionally consistently. Prospects would walk in expecting one thing and find another. The content wasn’t creating enough separation between what Beyond Athletics was and what it wasn’t.
In a market where every fitness facility posts high-energy workout clips, looking different requires saying something different not just filming something different.
The Approach:
We put the founder on camera and gave him one job: draw the line.
In under 30 seconds Clayton names CrossFit directly and articulates the philosophical difference between competition-driven training and individual progress-driven training. Beyond Athletics isn’t about beating the person across the nation. It’s about being better than you were yesterday.
That single distinction said plainly, on camera, by the person who built the facility does what months of workout content couldn’t. It makes the comparison irrelevant.
The Result:
A prospect watching this reel no longer needs to ask whether Beyond Athletics is like CrossFit. The founder already answered that question and answered it in a way that made the right prospect feel seen and the wrong prospect self-select out. That’s not marketing. That’s positioning.
